Life has been very full. That’s no excuse, but it is a reality and I’m learning to juggle everything right now! I am so thankful for all the opportunities and resources I have available – I want to do them all! And I have allowed a lot in, which has left me burnt out and anxious.
Entering this new year, I realized I needed to prioritize my time and how I fill it. I have to say no to some things (like hitting the snooze button or staying up late) and yes to the things that really matter to me. Blogging is something I want to say yes to more. My heart is to reach women with a positive message and empower them to love their bodies and pursue their dreams. This is my passion and I can’t wait to use this platform to do that.
In the meantime, let me update you on what’s been going on these last couple months!
We have continued settling into life in Philadelphia. We found a church right away that has become our home and community. If you’re looking for a church in Philly, check out City Light (and let me know you’re going, so I can connect with you). Having a community has been so helpful in making Philadelphia home.
In addition to Beautycounter and blogging, I’ve been nannying 20-30 hours a week and have been perfecting my baby talk, haha! I love my sweet little nanny baby and she is keeping me busy! Life is full, like I said, and I don’t want it this way forever, but I am working towards big goals, and it’s going to take some extra work!
On Instagram stories, I’ve been sharing my daily eats! So if you’re looking for some food inspiration or encouragement in your intuitive eating journey, follow along! Everyone has different needs, and I am not a dietician, so I hope that my posts are simply inspiring and encouraging! Look for some daily eats posts on the blog coming up!
I’ve also started doing weekly virtual coffee dates on Instagram and Facebook (you choose which platform is best for you) every Friday morning. Facebook I go live at 8AM EST and Instagram I go live at 8:30AM EST. It’s a time where I share what I’ve been thinking about and learning over the week. Think of it as a real coffee date – so show up and ask questions!
Lastly, my Beautycounter business is growing (which is so exciting!), and I’m so eager to share safer beauty with you all! If you are looking for weekly safer beauty inspiration and updates (i.e. promos), then sign up for my weekly newsletters!
