I'M ON A JOURNEY
my is to find a balanced approach to life and wellness
To help others tap into their intuition and find true balance in their lives. From non-toxic living and beauty, to intuitive living and recipes. My goal is to authentically share how I'm finding balance in my life, and encourage others to do the same.
OUR SOULS CRAVE SIMPLICITY
I’ve lived the hustle life. I tuned out my body for so many years, pushing it further when all it needed was quiet, rest, and some tender loving care. We live in a world that tells us we need more stuff, we need to accomplish more, and we cannot trust our bodies. But I’m here to say that our bodies are incredibly smart and they will tell us what we need, we just have to slow down long enough to listen. It’s okay to not be productive 24/7. It’s okay to take time off. It’s okay to love watching Netflix every night. Trust yourself!
I'm a 20-something girl living in the Midwest with my husband and fur baby. My life has been a journey of learning to listen to my body and heart and living an intuitive life!
For years I was trapped by an eating disorder, but found full freedom and recovery through intuitive eating and a balanced approach to wellness. I now love sharing this hope with others and showing how you can pursue feeling your best self in a balanced way!
I graduated from St. Olaf in 2014 with a degree in Social Work, but have never practiced social work formally. The next few years after college was a winding road of different jobs, all me trying to find the "right one." It wasn't until 2017, when I finally listened to my heart, left the 9-5 world, and started my own business with Beautycounter, which opened the door to living in alignment with my true self.
I now work full-time as a virtual assistant, have a thriving business with Beautycounter, co-host the Embracing Balance Podcast, and run a lifestyle blog where I share all my life lessons, joys, and current faves with you all.
I am a 'kindred spirit' (where are my Anne of Green Gables fans?), my mo is high-quality and simple, I'm obsessed with B Corps and business who do good, and you can usually find me either in the kitchen, watching a documentary, or sipping some of my hubby's freshly roasted coffee.
